Now this is something many a people have told me to write( people who laugh at my psychology [:(] ..).. So here's life life at GOOOOOOOOOGLE

Google has been rated by fortune as the no. 1 company in the world to work with . Why? So well, as the name suggests , its a life full of colors, the workplace where environment seems to be just like a college .
The company is a true synonym of innovation , coz the ideas which Google has invented and implemented ,were never thought of. Be it Google earth, maps, news or even the very special Gmail. A quote of a person who visited google - “It’s like college, you have to be able to problem solve on your own, not simply stop andhope another team member can fix it for you”.

Fun@work - Well i ve seen some videos of our Googleplex in mountainview , n i can tel u , u cant have more fun anywhere else. The free food - what people say is the most inspiring factor to work at google- is just one of them . Shabbily dressed people , eating most of the time (but coding most of the time) playing with the google toys.. having fun. The google offsites and the frudays here add to the loads of fun and masti . The cafe, snack rooms , TT and pool tables and the break out rooms are just places to chill out.

Well i dunno where to begin from.. but i have thought a lot about it.. what is the essence of ur life.. what is the purpose of living.. jus think over it for a minute.. i m sure u wud scratch ur head and come to the following options:
-Name and Fame
-MONEY $$$$$$
-Material things -includes the best luxuries in this world - the biggest bungalows, the most luxurious cars, the finest wines, the best 'babes' (n sex!! of course)
-Fun and enjoyment

So this was a survey for girls.. what i wanna say here is tht the essence of life is .. LOVE .. yes this could sound philosophy to u readers.. but its not.. i can say this .. here's how

What a human wants in life is happiness(almost 50% of the votes in the above survey) .. n you cant be happy only with money .. or cars.. or sex.. You can only be happy when you are loved .. and when you love the people who u r with.. when u know u r special for th ones around you.. when u know ur life makes a difference to them.. n their life means a lot to you.. Only then you are happy.. LOVE is wat gets happiness..

However this is not the end.. the biggest achievement in life is living for others .. a selfless living(i know this has got very philosophic .. but sorry .. jus my views ) .. a life just to make others happy.. a perfect altruist.. a person whose life is meant for someone else!!!!.. i wud always salute such people.. my respect for them.......................

oh .. back here finally.. after a more than half a year.. finally decided tonight that i ll write.. hmm life s changed.. so ve ppl.. have joined GOOGLE India .. yeah , the same company which owns this space and this blogger.. the company which has changed the way this world works.. joined it 2 months back .. life seems pretty cool here.. (but college was college.. cant get it back :( .. ) miss my college group here.. neways.. life's like that .. hmm.. coming back .. i ll do keep postings about the latest happenings in Google(oops.. not the confidential ones :-x ) .. whts hot here .. n whts not.. so do check it.. coz a friend of mine has really inspired me to write again( thanks yaar if u r reading this )..

the fountainhead.. my book review

huh.. fountainhead.. now i m too amateur of a reader to write th review of such an epic .. jus got one fact from google .. The book was rejected by 12 publishers before a young editor at the Bobbs-Merrill Company publishing house wired to the head office, "If this is not the book for you, then I am not the editor for you" (i.e., he threatened to quit).. well.....'life's like that'.. wel undoubtedly its the most amazing work i ve read in my life!! .. ya it is.. i felt this bcoz not only is it a book which can shake ur psychology but how it is actually framed .. the way ayn rand has presented the whole story is th real icing on the cake.. the self contradictin sentences used were mind boglin( what to get outta em!!) .. the book speaks of the 2 kinds of ppl in this world.. one who is in all of us( most of us i shud say.. for th followers of howark roark :) .. ) .. who is th commonplace man .. who yields himself, his self respect for his progress and for name n fame , one who works to live(peter keating).... and the other man (howard roark) , who lives to work , who lives for his self respect, who creates himself in this world, who is not a copier, not any second-hander . Ayn rand has based her novel on architecture and uses it as a symbol to depict life and the way the central characters live it. The book stresses on ego and says that self respect and egotism are a must for human progress . The dialogues between roark n wynand n between roark and dominique are enthralling. However , even till the end of the novel it was really diffi to understand y the name 'Fountainhead' . i believe that ' man(like roark) is the creator (the source .. the head) of everything ' . still not very sure about y this name.
something that i disliked about it? jus can say some scene descriptions whice were too much for me to visualize

my first post!!

So finally after yrs of waitin i m here with my first post on my first blog .. havin a very free life so y not try bloggin!! .. cudnt think much on what to start with so lemme start by describin the day(a real trithe to start with .. huh!!).. Jus finished with the last of my treats today.. the long due one of course with my dear juniors.. was a perfect weather .. nice sun.. n moreover th best place "chokhi daani".. wont describe it more here.. wil hav th pics rite away.. now what i plan to hav on this blog is ( i dunno .. ;) ) my book reviews( oh yes i read now) , movie reviews , current affairs n of course our college masala and my life experiences.. and yes psychology and philosophies of life(i love that).. so stay tuned for my nxt posts( and to waste more time readin this .. hehe ;) )..
